Bandung and the bits

It's that time of the year; Outdoor Study time. Until now, I still don't know why it's called Outdoor studying because we weren't really outdoors we're just outschool, if there's such thing. Plus, we're not actually learning something. I think field trip would've been more appropriate but hey, I'm not the one in charge so I really shouldn't care.

This year we actually went out of Bogor and Jakarta. My first was Bogor-Jakarta (IPB and UIN), second was Jakarta (UI and Dufan), and this year is Bandung (UNPAD and UPI, plus what so called Kunjungan Wirausaha to Lembang Floating Market).

I'd rather go to, like, Paris van Java (a mall. YES. A mall. Judge me) but it wasn't on the option when we chose yet the responsible teacher said "We will not go to Paris van Java because you guys chose the floating market." and I remembered I just sat there and thinking "What?! It's not even in the options?! If it was, I'd chose that over a heartbeat." I mean, it's more entrepreneur-esque than some funky floating market that we actually have (and way much cooler) (not naming names).

As usual, we went per bus and this year bus sucks. We usually have boys in our class in the bus. We did have boys though, but they're like, two years younger. School, if you're reading this, please continue that tradition because I kinda want everybody to suffer. I'm lucky enough to have fun chaperones, so... Fine. I'd be having fun with my girls anyway.

I did have fun. But, it's not as fun as having boys in the bus like the last two years. I sound really slutty right now, but believe me. Having boys in the bus would ensure us of having great music, laughing tons of laugh and getting some sleep on the road.

When we got to Unpad it was already late and I wasn't really listening because none caught my attention. My shoes though, demand some affection by being broken. Thank god for superglues.

When we got to UPI... It's a whole different story. I have a familiar face there, YAY! Yay for Kamal and his awesome schedule of lectures so he could actually be there. He kinda kidnapped me(?) and put me on trouble... He did showed me around UPI and it's huge. He showed me his classrooms and the library and the canteen. If it weren't for the surprise and the lack of my cellphone battery, I'd took lots of pictures of UPI and with him. After was the floating market and you could see mine (and gengless, 'duh) instavid reaction in my instagram page and let the pictures do the talking.

[ obligatory gengless and gengless+ selfies ]

[ teacher selfies because they're awesome ]

[ this needs one word only; best! Abiw's photobomb is awesome though. First picture 'hello people hello world Abiw's in the house yo!' second picture 'lol im done photobombing people']

[ I can't believe I'm saying this; I wouldn't be myself today if it weren't for this guy ]

It was great though, if you only think from the 'spending great time with my friends' side. And now... As for the finals...

Yeah. It's NBD that we didn't make our own exams and decided to use the expert mode exams. It's N-B-D.

(+) This is now your guide in life. Make a button of this to put on the sidebar as an appreciation, 'kay?

Futsal!

Ok I might be kind of late since other school blogger (that's you, Rin and Biw) already did this activity during sport and my class is kinda late.

A week late.

No worries.

At first I was scared by the idea of playing futsal (mini football? It's like football but it's played by 5 people only and the rules is kinda the same. Except there's no offside otherwise we'll never score a goal) because let's face it. I'm proud as an ADHD kid and I'm not ashamed of it, but the motor aspect of an ADHD kid is soooo bad and in playing futsal I have to maintain two thing I suck the most; balance and precision. So my first thought was; hell yeah, I'm getting Fernando Torres as a nickname because I can't score. Well, Torres can, but he scores when he want. I can't control that, I just can't score. Torres 1 - 0 Brina.

At first we have to do the cool warmups I've seen in pictures of Chelsea FC training. I feel awesome doing that because I'm doing what the legends did. It contains several moves like jumps and runs and cool things in between.

Then the sun got too funky and it's actually really hot outside, so the girls took the first match and I kinda forgot who's on the team. Hehe.

(Hanan if you're reading this, I'm sorry if I kinda forgot but was it you on the first team?!! HAHAHA LOVE YOU NAN)

All I remember is it was really hot, I was running, I was trying to score and my teammates were AWESOME because we got a cool defender and Hanan and Lina was continuously creating chances for us to score (which I ruined always, d'uh) and Ega and Sarah was clearly A+ keepers. Sarah got a new nick; Sarah Cech!:)) clean sheet baby.

But then I got the ball and the defence line was empty and the next thing I know, I scored. I scored. 1-0 for XII IPA-2, BUT it was pure luck. XII IPS' keeper caught the ball inside the goal line so I scored.

Who cares,
I SCORED.

I was so happy but keeping it on the inside because I wanted to look cool and act "lol-whatever-it's-no-big-deal" all over my crappy face, burnt and hot all over.

It was so awesome. I feel like doing it again every week. At the end, we won for 3-1 during penalty.

Now, my feet kinda hurt.

A little bit. It's no big deal.

You had a lot of fun.

July 31st night was the funnest night of my high school, stay-at-school nights. We only stay at school on Ramadan because we have this pesantren thingy and we sat down, listen to lectures about major kitab and recite a lot of Al Quran. The fun part is we're reciting the Juz 30 and I kinda have no problem with that, I just lack confident and common sense.

At July 31st, after a weird muhasabah moment at Masjid that I never quite grasped and giggled my way through it, we went back to school. The muhasabah was weird because it was dark and it was funny because the noise in the background was some construction doing. After we got to the school, I grabbed my toothbrush and face wash to do the night ritual and that's where the fun kicks in. The guys started to scare Amel with these scary masks and being the good best friend that I totally am, I just stood there to watch and laugh my face off. Out of nowhere, more guys started to make appearances upstairs (all of seventeen generation girls were put upstairs and the boys were downstairs. I believe this arrangement was deeply and thoroughly thought, but nevertheless, the boys got feet and they walk their way up) and we started to mingle. Boys became pocong and scare Icha. Boys got together and talk about Suarez. Girls got together and gossip. Boys and girls got together and chat. I guess we made quite a scene, but I don't think we were loud, though.

I was just started talking to Alif about things I can't remember(?) when these eleven graders ran to their room/class (Bio class. But since there's no moving class anymore, I believe it's Eleven Science 2 class) laughing and all that. We went from "HAHAHA" to "Lol wt* happened." and we saw one teacher's silhouette. Everything went Gaga. I literally ran to my room/class laughing and whispering the teacher's name, literally forgetting Abiw and Amel who chatted with Nay and Reno and Aldo. I just really want to save my ass that time. Luckily they were behind me and we laughed our whole body. If it wasn't the sudden appearance of our teacher, I think it won't be that fun. Now, I actually cannot wait for Pembekalan Kelas Dua Belas. I just wish this last through the year. It's just too fun to pass.

Tomorrow

School starts tomorrow. In a not-so-good way. I'm actually scared about the next driving lesson, and I think I'm not ready for more things about Physics. What class I will fall into? Will I follow a pattern? I don't want to follow a pattern. I just want to belong this time.

Well... At least I will try to be Veronica Lodge. She's awesome (and born with it!), such an inspiration.

Twisted

It's still a long way to go. Wait. Not long. Medium length. Like my hair now. Medium length.

Seeing the whole rush on my twitter timeline is not helping. Like the dilemma you had before a haircut. Enough with the hair relation. Focus now. Let's talk about college. Let's talk about the freaky stuff, because I had a lot to take in today and I need to let it out. I am a year twelve kiddo. Wait, what am I?!?!!!?

It's beyond scary. I think I might put my self in tears just to think about it. I always thought high school was the big part of someone's life but no, it's college. Early twenties is all about finding yourself and it happened in college. I always thought, Pfft. College. I will be steady by I hit seventeen and I will know whatever I want to do with my life by then.

Uhm... Thirteen year old Brina? I'm not steady... And I don't know what I want to do with my life.

Can I dispose it on the garbage bin, though?

Anyway, I have two options. Both are difficult, though different difficult. Both options led to a different battle that I will conquer, but in a different manner. Both will give the same opportunity in the future and it's ripening with benefits. It's not cheaper or pricier than each other. My options are very... Even.

Abroad. It's such a dream for me to go and to indulge. Living solo in a faraway land. Far from parents, my baby cousins and family, my besties that always pull me through. There are technology and skype and Line Free Calls, but until printers can print pizza or serve me a bowl of my Mom infamous beef stew, I'm not 100% in it. But a life in Europe. Even the small cities count and it will definitely be a trip. I am not upset over the fact that a) I have to learn a new language, b) it's hard. I just think the whole 'finding myself' thing will work better in Europe. To travel the world, even just a small piece of it has always been my dream. I don't need Eiffel and Pisa, I just want to walk and be a sponge around the beautiful surroundings. Plus... I get the chance to see my favourite football team play in house! Stamford Bridge, how I long for you!

On the other hand... I can just go local. There are a lot of good business school, public or private, that offers International classes if I still want to go abroad. That way, I can stay close to my friends, my parents have more control of me, and I can still eat meat. Call me loco, but I'm afraid I might've turn pescatarian because I cannot afford to eat meat. Eye roll, right. But... That's it? I thought I've grown myself into a self-challenger girl that isn't afraid of anything. Going local might've jinx the theme. I don't want to jinx my theme.

But nonetheless, if you can peek through my twitter timeline (the reason we all here talking about my future. Um... It's protected though), I've been offering people to come with me. To Germany. Do you know a trick of coin the internet has told me?

If you're puzzled on something and you're torn apart in two options. Flip a coin. Not to see the result, but to find that little wish of the result you want to see when the coin flips.

I have my decision, and I still have plans for both options. But with future... All you can do after you try, fight, struggle, flip and (finally) blow your head, is wait.

Science Three and its' awesomeness.

The year is ending for us and it's time for holiday (YAAAY!!!) and getting ready and steady for year twelve (NAAWWW...). Science three has always been a good reason for me loving year eleven and let's just cut the writing crap to the next post.

(this is for Saraaaaaaahhhhhh)

Lol that's one terrible shot.

Finals (in case you missed it. Yep that means you, Biw.)

- Novi, Mamah Ais, and Sarah. + Dila and Frizasqy, though:))

WE'RE FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT.

Yep. And after we thought finals ended on Friday... We're wrong. I guess it's just one of Bosowa's policy to make 0 activity on school at Saturday so we can have a day off (And I was just thinking, what is a Saturday day off? I've never experienced a Saturday off without school thingies in forever because of filming this and filming that, practice this and practice that) so we still have two exams on Monday. YES, MONDAY. I just don't get it. Pft. Ruining our days. Making the exam seems longer. Whatever. I'm over it.

About the exam, I aced the one I shouldn't. No, not shouldn't I supposed. Thought will not? Remember my days of constant yammering about me hating chemistry and how me and chemistry will not make it as a happy couple leaving the high school doors? Wrong. I actually like chemistry now and I feel like the exam was divine. I found all of the answers by counting. And TIK. You must know that my TIK teacher is extreme and hard and everything in between yet the exam was pretty doable. I still make mistakes because, duh, I'm Brina but I'm pretty confident.

But........ Always a rain to ruin my parade. Math and Physics and Bio was HARD. Like, hard-hard. I hate it. I hate it that I didn't maximize and I ruined it. I don't know. I guess I might just have to wait on the result and make up, but I know I failed one. Al Quran. Yep. Yours truly can't focus and get on her feet on reciting Surah Yasin and failed the class. Awful. Just awful.

I started a #30dayschallenge on instagram. It's day 5 and no, I haven't post the weather. I'm kinda wishing it would rain today:)

Shooting and all that.

In the last two days (including today. Does that count?) I've been shooting as Diva and yeah, it's tiring but thanks to the lovely cameramen... Or women, the shots looked pretty good and I'm lovin' it. Today is my best shooting so far because I get to be the non-slutty Diva. Yay.

Yesterday I went on youtube and found cool peeps over videos. Beside Stefan Ivanovic, yes. The second I heard San Cisco, I fell in love with the cool beat of garage-pop-ish. And then, I found The Honey Trees. Love 'Orchard' and 'To Be With You'

Glee is starting!

Have a great day!

*insert sarcastic laugh here*

I've been so lazy updating my blog, I know. My bad. I'm so busy wrecking my phone (one big scratch recently, I ought to buy a cute casing, god I can't pick) and scheduling (and rescheduling) my class shooting schedule. I've been studying... not. I got 60% on my math test and IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I PROMISE YOU (you know it is, I'm just so... You know, me).

UPDATES!
I changed my username(s) to sashbrina. It's the (crazy) abbreviation of Sidharta Alfiaputri Sh(a)brina. Lose the a because sashabrina is weird. It sounds like my nickname is 'Sasha' and let's just say my weird name is being civilised better at this point. My name is too diplomatic and serious. Oh my god I'm bragging.

I got my Ivanovic Jersey! Thanks for Ken to buying it for me (my money, his effort). Eternally grateful.

Errrmmm, what. I thought I feel more excited this week than ever. OH! Erin came in to my English class and we played a lot of games and I'm having crazy fun at EF. Not just fun. Crazy fun. This is what you get when your teacher is Erin. I'm also happy for understanding matrix and suku banyak today at my tuition. I know I'm sleepy as hell when listening to the teacher explaining me about how to divide and add and relating to algebra and all stuff, but when you FINALLY understand what he's talking about, man... Heaven is suddenly on earth.

Anyway. #instadaily (Even I don't use that hashtag in my useless shots lol)

And this badboy picture made it to @jansport_id, WOHOO! Cheers for us, biw!

And just for old time and fun sake, 9 People You Become After A Breakup. Number six, uh-huh.

Hff...

I have to agree on some bloggers/instagrammers that instagram does make things easier and, you know... Blog-able. Is that even a word.

Stop typing useless words. My class script is doneee! Gosh, I'm so excited because IPA1 and IPA2 is already filming, and there's us. I'm so jealous of them because they are so frikkin organised on everything and my class is a bit chaotic right now but we're working on it. We just practised our dialogs and everything falls into place somehow. We've managed to get into the adult characters, even my clients. Clientele. I feel like this is a bit magical somehow and I hope my class can film the best thing we could make!

P.S. Will be making a stop motion trailer of the Kesatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh tale, straight from the book... And so excited I get to be the movie editor gal! Excited plus scared.

Burned

... by the sun! The extreme weather of Kota Bogor, not to mention the lack of cover in our schoolfield burnt my skin to the darkest shade of me. I think I might give everything a rest and just stay at home protecting my skin from the UVs so Oscar, I know what you feel. I know what you feel (Even Torres and Eden Hazard didn't pull that knee socks up that high and skip the gloves). My latest hobby has been nothing but seeking for Branislav Ivanovic pictures in tumblr and everything. I have to admit, between he and John Terry, he's still the hottest. JT is not the one on stills, but always looked amazing on the screen. I miss having him in the games.

AND YES, I WAS ON FIRE TODAY. With the tarik tambang conflicts and several gossips running around that just, ew-god-I-wanna-barf, it's just easier to channel every drop of anger to pulling the frikkin rope and just tear my epidermis layer on my palms. Lucky we got in to the semifinals and will fight over XI IPA-1 along with futsal. Being the only eleven graders is nerve-racking I don't know. Oh, I'm so excited for OSIS having this 'Warung Osis Keliling' thingy because I just think it's brilliant. Should charge for photos though, Lucky was having his day with being captured.

(currently obsessed with Cults' Never Heal Myself. They are amazing everyone should give a listen)

SWEETEST FRIDAY

As you all know this day is a very special day for XI IPA-3.

We perform our musical drama first.

I'm just, through the roof. WE MADE IT GUYS. All of the unnecessary feelings and satires we shared is nothing compared to the final result. I know we messed up a bit (during Umbrella dance, sigh) but that's all right. Because we love the final of the final dance! And I just love the fact that #17 #18 generation and some of the #16 are willing to watch us, because that's what shows are for. To be watched! My personal fear is to be put in front, for all the school to see but I overcome that by chanting Diva's triumph chants. Diva has gotten into me right now, lol.

Let me tell you about the story of our musicals.

Well, there's this 'boy gang' and 'girl gang' (+1... well... A Drag queen). One boy fell in love with the one girl from the other gang, and joining forces with the coolest dance crew on earth, they made a fine, awesome dance force!

The first act was Madcon's Beggin and the boys (Danar, Fafa, Ken, and Hasan) made this gate-thingy with their bodies hanging on to each other, doing a opening/closing gate movements. After the gate thingy, in come the girls (ME! and Sarah and Yavis and Amel) with the Umbrella, dancing to Rihanna's Umbrella. It's the least cool dance for me, because it doesn't take that much time practising. Though the umbrella is quite hard to manoeuvre. Mine was so stiff and it took a bit of effort to kick-open the umbrella, yet Sarah's opened during the dance. Oops. Anyway when the umbrella dance is finished, Danar, Fafa, Ken, and Hasan did a stunt jump over the back thingy and landed, becoming robots like in Step Up 3! Fafa and Hasan was the coolest. After that they backed up, Almas came in and do a solo robot steps with scooping motions on the background, when Fafa and Hasan did breakdance steps.

And this is where (my) fun begun. After the robot thingy is done, I, Sarah, Yavis and Maul got in to do a simple salsa step with the boys. Minus Hasan of course. This is absolutely my favourite part. It's a bit messy though for the others because we didn't put down the same steps (mine and Danar's was one on one, Almas-Maul's was sets of three, Ken-Sarah was sets of two and some cha-chas, and Fafa-Yavis' are there to be cute and funny, lol) but I received a lot of compliments on the salsa and it sent me through the roof. Dude, I really sucked at Umbrella! It's like my body is embalmed and stiff as heck but I could let some go in salsa. When it ends, we started shuffling and ended the whole scene with Gangnam Style! YAY FOR GANGNAM STYLE. Is a bit tricky though because I wore a knee-length short dress but that's alright.

Sadly, no one took pictures because the hall was quite dark (thankfully it's cold) and no videos are taken! It's too sad because we want to send the clips to Maris and Rani, the -2 we really missed.

This is... The best Friday of the year! I'm sure there are (and will be) great, just simply great Fridays in the past and future but this tops of the list. Our win is our happiness, guys. I know this is not an achievement or a competition or anything but at least we prove ourself damn well today. Danke Welt. Danke XI IPA-3. It's not a bad thing, is it, being moved to November 30th? :D

[Posting our poster soon]

Fun, fun, fun.

I had the best day today, and I kept telling myself "THANK GOD YOU TOOK THAT CHANCE AND RODE THAT FRIKKIN ROLLER COASTER." because it was awesome. Most awesome. My favourite thirty seconds so far. It's like running away from reality, and enjoying every thrill that you can get. That's awesome. Even though I looked like I'm about to cry (because it's so scary during the loops and stupidly I opened my eyes). It's the greatest risk I've took, more than saying I love you.

PHOTOS!
