Quiet

Since everybody's not in town, and by everybody I mean everybody, I spent today cleaning and having a quiet day at home. It's still almost seven and I actually still can go out somewhere but the car is being borrowed and it's raining non-stop since this morning (I got two loads of laundry sitting in the machine because getting it out would ruin them) and it's just feels reaaaalllyy good to have no screw-y sound in the background.

I used to be so attached to my TV at times like this. It must be on, 24/7 at all costs and blackouts scare the hell out of me. But lately, Mom gave me options on either TV or internet and of course I chose the internet! Frikkin crazy. So... Yeah. I stopped binge-watching on The Kardashians, I lost track on Scandal and ANTM, I catch news by my phone and the paper. The only time the tv's on is either on movies or food channel. I have come to a point where TV sounds actually gave me headache. Well, maybe in a week I'd watch a thing or two (I think I can't wait on my Mom's approval to watch SATC on a DVD-basis, I don't want to miss out on a major it cult of the 90s!) like... I don't know. I can't make up something, I guess I'm off the TV too long :))

So when my friends told me to watch this this show, local, called Diam Diam Suka, I just don't know what to say because a) I never watched local soap operas before! The only time I was addicted to a show is when Glee went viral and a heart-throbbing me, patiently waiting for Darren Criss to recite lines and beam his amazing god-like persona and b) Gossip Girl put my standard really high on soap operas so I'm definitely hesitating. Turns out it's so hilarious and let's just say that I'm glad I don't like watching TV. I'm just really glad.

I'm so excited for The Hedon Trip. Oh wait. It's still half a year away! Alright. I'm so excited for New Years Eve. I don't know where actually I will be spending them but a busy fireworks finale is always a must have.

FIREWORKS!

Ending October

All I knew is Alesso and Calvin Harris' Under Control is definitely the song of the month.

You gain some, you lose some is the most realistic quote ever.

My days has been nothing but BuzzFeed and relentless case of studying slash working out slash replying chats.

I've decided to focus on one thing more than the other...

But I definitely know that this month was awesome!

My dreams have grown into being featured in Kompas Sosialita to speaking in front of an audience in TED.

I have promised myself (and some other parties) that I will THIN myself out!

And Brina! Here's a reminder that...
a. You're turning 18 in six months. SIX MONTHS.
a.a. Feeling old already? YOU'RE NOT.
b. UN is only five months away.
c. So is that particular appliance test that you're dying to get your hands on.
d. But in the other hand, christmas is approaching in two months.
e. New Years Eve in two too.
f. Please don't give up in training those super awesome abs... You know (and he knows) that you hate the punishment.
g. Start looking around about infos on TOEFL-Prep!
h. You're never too busy. You just have a shitty priority.
i. Never give up. This video shows you why.

Reflection

Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

I did a funky, personality tests again. I love taking these. I guess as much as you, living your life and doing things the way you like it, being yourself and all that kind of shit, you never truly know who you are. I self-proclaimed myself a lot of times but then again, is it really me I'm proclaiming? If I had a shrink, she (no, believe me. It'll be a she even though I have a bit of a hard time trusting woman) will tell me I have a lot going on under my conscious because I do. I stress about bit of things that doesn't need to be stressed at all but apparently my subconscious can't handle me.

Take the test here.

I am currently; studying PAI, filling in my history task sheet, doing a lot of research and kepo-ing on my favourite subject ever, sock curling my hair, munching on dried nuts and semi sweet chocolate chips, trying to get a life by watching Arden Rose's Fall Haul and lust over her gorgeous face.

What to avoid: Zedd. Anything Zedd has to go, even though his stuff is AMAZING.

What to avoid: lovequotesrus.tumblr.com, even though it's AMAZING.

What's amazing: lovequotesrus.tumblr.com because it's basically my diary.

What to avoid: Shopping malls.

What's amazing : Rookie Yearbook One by Tavi Gevinson.

What to avoid: Diet. Because Ramadan is coming! YAY!

What's amazing: Food. Who cares your clothes are always too big anyway.

Unpacked

I think... I had some unfinished interest in Radiohead last year. I mean, I haven't had time to check it out until Rachel and Brody covered Creep last night in Guilty Pleasure and now it's my jam. I think, for a moment, I loved it because I love Rachel and Brody together, and I have loved every single of their duets. Even with the fact that Brody is a man whore. Nope. I don't care. They looked purrfect together and IDGAF. For me, there's no Lea Michele and Dean Geyer. Just Rachel and Brody.

So because I'm terribly mellow and hungry, I began to sip the lyrics and it kinda... Hit me. I'm creep, I'm a weirdo, I wish I was special, You're so very special, I want you to notice when I'm not around. I'm not saying that I'm degrading myself but to you, I'm lowest. I don't want to feel sorry for myself, moreover pity that I've put myself in such stupid position, but I think it's necessary. To feel sorry and low. At some point, I've seen myself as a conquerer, an on-top-of-the-world kid, ready to rule the world and all sort of things. I've been in conditions that you may never been in (and vice versa for that matter) and I believe it made me the person I am today. To have faith in being stupid and putting myself in stupid positions made me the person I am today. In changes I want to make and changed I've made. The song is just the hard slap in my face, followed with the fact that you don't care and I should too. The only thing keeping me is the promise I made you, and I'm sure you've promised me things in the past that you haven't pay... So, I guess I'm letting the promise go? I don't know. I'm still all weird about the situation. I guess I'm going to let it go.

Anyway... Yeah. I'm still pretty much head over heels with that unreachable guy. Emphasising on unreachable. Every day, he became more perfect than he already is and it hurts, man. It hurts. You being yourself is already irresistible and now, with every page unfolding and all, you've become much more impossible than you're already are. Impossible not to love (more).

Can't say it (after all we've been through)

Wait. We've been through nothing. Hahahaha. I still can't believe that I'm falling for someone beyond my reach and just feeling them is numbing. Who am I to you? I'm much less than that girl you see everyday, but I'm sure I'm more than acquaintance. I know you know me, but that's it. It's crazy. It's not everyday I get to see you and it's driving me even more insane. And the thing is... I'm doing nothing. I know, it's my choice for not being too crystal and keeping the whole ride for myself, but man. Call me stupid, but this feeling is eating me.

I feel like running away. No, I wish I had never met you. You had me and yes, I'm still wishing I had never met you. It's incredible what one meeting can do, and what it affects the next meeting(s). Was it even my choice that I fell for you? I don't really remember. This insanity has been going on for more than five months now, so what, you can call it love rather than infatuation? I feel so funny, all dizzy and stupid inside just thinking about you. You know one's saying that if you picture it, it might never happen? Yeah, I'm kinda doing it so somehow my brain will get transmissions that It might never happen. That I should stop committing to one feeling and just shoot. Free, be me. Or should I say that I kept shooting myself, hoping for new grounds yet I kept finding myself walking to you? Should I say that I'm just too tired? What's the point of being free if you feel like your feeling is eating yourself? Should I tell you? Should I not? The whole ballad is unnerving and I wish I had a time machine. Or a future vision. So I'd know what to do and what not to do. They also said that love is friendship on fire. I don't even think we're in a thing called 'friendship'.

What if I had never met you? I would still be mellow? I prefer that than this super crazy coaster. Or that sad, tragic ride. I'd take anything but this.

I'd take any ride, but not this.

Contemplating Thoughts on Being Sixteen

Sixteen. Sechzehn. For now, it maybe just a simple milestone I've passed, now that I am in another point of my life. It's not.

Sixteen was me, being (too) carefree and being super happy-go-lucky. Yes, I know. Looking at the archives, my best works of my posts are my complicated state of mind posts and how I'm trying to get over something that only exist in my head. It was stupid. I learnt my lesson. Somehow, turning older and adding +1 to your age is a recycling process for me and I think I've learn enough.

Sixteen was me, confessing love to the guy that doesn't even ready to hear the words. Hell, he didn't even believe such things as love. Sixteen was me, having high hopes that people changes and that you may be a factor to the process. Hell no, baby. People changes, but odds are... They're the main reason of the change. I know I am my own main reason of changing. Sixteen was me, sad and all mellow over my inability of not being able to finish my task on an organisation. Sixteen was me, drunk on love.

On the other hand...

Sixteen was me, getting home at ten p.m. after going out on town with some of my friends. God, I felt like I own the world. Sixteen was me, stupidly spending some amount of money without knowing where it went. I'm sure it's for food, but nothing of it was memorable. Sixteen was me, going to Bandung with friends on our own. Sixteen was me, starting a home party at 9 pm which eventually ends in midnight. No harm, of course. We only eat some of chicken kebabs and roasted corns. But my, the feeling sends me through the roof. Sixteen was me, finally understanding chemistry and loving them. Sixteen was me, stopping all the crazy diet I've been in and choosing to life healthy. Sixteen was me, having the ability to style my hair and put some make up on! Sixteen was me, having a phone call away to my best bro and my homies.

Sixteen was my fabulous journey. I have loved every minute of it, none of regrets. Sure, I did some idiotic mistakes that should've not been done, but who cares? All I know is my sixteen rules. I learnt a lot. A lot-a lot. If last year I felt like April went by so fast... Now, I feel like sixteen went by so fast. I surely will missed it. If I could relive it, would I? Nope. Because it's perfect just the way it is.

P.S. Last year Brina, you didn't have any birthday cake this year, but luckily the place gave you one. Relax, this year's celebration is as beautiful as last year's!

Counting Days

Two days. For every boy action, there's a girl overreaction. Couldn't agree more. Except here, it's vice versa. Lol.

I've been through a lot lately and I did keep it to myself. It's been crazy. Superstitious hell, room-spinning, roller coaster-vomiting kind of crazy. I got a few reasons for keeping it to myself, believing that I can handle all the things and juggle it at the same pace as school and friends and social media and me running out of money every time I went out of my home door. I can't. The act of sharing a painful secret can relieve some of the pain. Not that my secret is painful... Well, it is, but it's not that painful. Knowing that I've got a full-time, phone call away, 24/7 companions just pull my strings and brought me together again. This world we lived in is insane, moulding us into green and envied person who's never tired of looking up when there's bunch of other people who's never tired of looking up on us and for me, having a true friend who says what's on his/her mind and agrees with me conceptually is making me undeniably grateful. On these things, we just know that it's a keeper.

So here I am, two days away from adulthood and all the things that attached to it, broken, shattered, in pieces, stupid in love, carefully letting things go, closing more doors yet carelessly throwing away the keys. I think I'm ready for being seventeen.

Bring it on.

Exasperating.

CLASS SHOOTING IS OVER YO!!! A hundred scenes+ and we're done. Well, I know Amel hasn't do the reviewing things and we might need to reshoot some scenes but I'm so glad it's DONE. Now it's just my place to do my part, the editing. God. Can I do this? I'm sure, but I'm scared. Fear is over consuming me and I'm just happy that it's a sign of a living person. Having problems, living in fear, nervous when taking risks. Don't sweat it, it's basically just good signs!:)

I'm in a really... Swingy mood right now. Mercurial? I don't know. Another risk needs to be taken and I am sure in nerve hell. I'm just... Not used to it. Not that I want to jinx it or anything... I just... Man. It's just a lot to take in. I feel like pouring my heart out and just, you know, write. Without knowing someone is watching or reading or judging. Having my writing to affect nobody, simply my release. I can't do that anymore. Words just slide off my head, I can't spit it out anymore. Forty five minutes phone call with my best friend and I relieved nothing, but constant fuzziness and minimal appetite, low flow of serotonin? I don't know. I know I'm a mess but I'm...

Do you know that blogging from your smartphone is extremely, crazily, distracting? Never a post done.

Proud... and Scared.

I was a Nutrilon Kid. So proud.

Anyway. It's almost seventeen years of me living in the planet. Seventeen. It's kinda big, the number. The days of me as a four, six, eight, ten, thirteen, fifteen, and at last sixteen years old always flashes back. Just remembering me as a four years old, buying my first 'thick' book with writings in it. And my first storybook that has 200+ pages. My first best friend, my first glasses with -0.75 on both lenses and now it grew to -1.50 on both lenses. My first pair of wedges, my first professional custom-fit dress. My first boyfriend. My first love. My first heartbreak. My first ring that leads to the collection I'm growing now. That one time when I stumbled in to Giuseppe Zanotti's website and realises that I LOVE shoes. Another point when I stumbled to style.com and seaofshoes, and just know that I'm passionate about clothes and fashion. First class of Biology and I know I'm going to like it. First class of Chem and I know I'm going to hate it. It's been a looooooooooooooooong journey I'm in and it's even longer (and bigger, and better, wait, not better but best) future I'm having.

Twenty days.

I've managed everything for my closed-celebration of my birthday. All that left are some leftover details and several piece of things that I need to take care of. I'm so happy and nervous that I'm turning seventeen. I mean, you'll sign up and get an ID, that certifies that you're a legal civilian of the country. That driver's license you had been waiting for a long time. A new responsibility. Another year and you're able to attend those fashion after parties. I mean... You're seventeen and you're lawfully legal! There's something about being so grown up yet you're grown up enough to go to jail at the same time. Creepy.

Now and Then

Every now and then, gue capek belajar. It's an awful sickness. The meds? My music. Going out at night and getting home late. Buying unnecessary books that only has fifty phrases in it. Getting the car out and just driving randomly around the neighbourhood. Not caring about home works. Making sketches from upper view of my future room. Making sketches from upper view of my future apartment. Opening random blogs on my top sites. Finding funky songs. Calculating my living cost in Germany. Calculating how much it costs me a trip to Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Athens, Vienna, Zurich. Go on facebook and having crazy flashback. Cry. Wasting my money on nail polishes that don't match my skin tone. Mop the floor. Having an OCD laundry day by separating everything by its colours and shades and prints and everything I like. Watch Gilmore Girls.

"Tell him that you're never gonna leave him, tell him that you're always gonna love him, tell him-tell him-tell him-tell him right now."

Every now and then, gue capek ketemu orang-orang. Makanya gue sering bolos sekolah pake akting sumbilangeun. Kalo gak lagi sumbilangeun? Puasin aja tidur, udah jam enam tapi tidur lagi. Tetiba kan bangun jam tujuh terus gak bakal sempet ke sekolah.

Every now and then, gue kangen sama orang-orang.

Every now and then, gue bosen baca buku. Maunya dibacain.

Every now and then, gue jatuh cinta. Terus... Terus...

Something stupid (like I love you)

(put some cool music on first)

Weird thing is, I said I love you so easily. Truth, I kinda love everyone. In different ways, in a thankful ways. At some points, you'd be hearing "Aaakkk! Thank you!!! I love you so much!" from me. But seriously. Ask yourself again. If you're really, truly my bestfriend, you won't be hearing a lot of this from me. All I throw you is just another bullshit jokes or insecure reminders for you. Via text, sure. I give a lot of ILYs and smooches via text, but man, I didn't even hug. I mean if you threw your arms around me than sure, yeah, I'll hug you back. But to be the bigger person and stretch out my hands? Nope. Even though sometimes at moments I wish I had been hugging, squealing my bestfriends, I won't do that.

No. I'm not crazy, lol.

Or delusional.

Here's the thing. I think I've said I love you at perfect times, and have people saying I love you at perfect times. You know. When no one is around and you just kinda say it loud, with a big smile. Or when everybody is around and the words just kinda sneak in the back of your neck. Or you kinda gave a gift and they said thank you, and they opened it and you can just see it in their eyes that they love it, and in comes the I love you. Perfect moments. Now? Not so much. I kinda give it away easily though. Too easily? I don't know.

It's just that, hey, do that perfect moments exist anymore? If I have the opt to either relive those moments or create new ones... You'll know which one I'd pick.

Nah. I'd pick Germany for university over anything at this point.

(Met Herr Klauss today and to be honest, I did not get every word he said. Man, those German and that accent. Better play dead but hey, that's future right up there)

...

Kali-kali ngepost pake bahasa indonesia.

Terus mau ngomong apa gak tau. Sekarang lagi deg-degan aja sih MU lawan Chelsea. Di Old Trafford pula. Biasanya sih kalo away, Chelsea mainnya bagus. Alah. Apa coba beda visi.

(Gak bahas Howard Webb kok.

Kelebihan hormon apa gimana. Terus sekarang pilek yang bener-bener pilek. Nggak kaya biasanya. Biasanya tuh bengek terus ingusnya gak bisa keluar, jadi bikin sesek. Kalo sekarang, meler terus bersinnya banyak kali. Ini gak asik. Besok harus bawa tisu sama kantong plastik. Abis, tong sampah di BI minim. Gak kaya dulu di Spensa. Eh, gak boleh bandingin.

Sekarang udah gak galau lagi dong. Ini penting banget. Asal jangan dibahas aja ya, gue bisa nostalgia terus ntar terjebak. Berasa Raisa. Tau dari mana Brin? Soalnya sekarang gue ngefans matinya sama Nolan Funk. Apanya? Nggak tau. Pokoknya lebih keren.

Udah ah. Gue mulai deg-degan parah gamenya mau mulai. Food for your thoughts:

Oh iya, gue berenti celfit, terus disuruh nari Jawa. Gak papa kok.

Cause we know that boys equals trouble

It's just a silly, low quality and super funny cover on Taylor Swift's I Knew You Were Trouble by Me, Sabilla, and Amel.

We used WOTE's on background because Taylor's is too pitchy!

P.S. Our next cover is Dark Side.
P.P.S. Hopefully, in a better quality.

Fakin' it.

So Hayley told me about her conversation with Erin, about me, being never heard speaking one word in Bahasa in front of them. I laughed. It's true, I rarely speak Bahasa in front of teachers in EF but I actually say a bunch of Bahasa word in EF. E&H even feel like I speak nothing but English. Wait till they heard me saying something in Javanese, lol. So fakin' it.

I didn't go to school today, because a) My uncle watched football so he can't take me to school. b) License-less. One of the new rules of my sucky school is you can't bring car/motorcycle if you're license-less, and let's just say I don't have enough balls to let it park someplace out of school. c) I want to clean up the house. d) I'm lazy. The last reason is probably the 90% part. Let's face it. My school is not a fun place to go, except for the crazy friends I really, really love. School now feels like a burden and yes, I've been saying this shit for millions time now but it's true. How I wish I could speak A+ Deutch and transfer myself to DIS.

(this is just a lousy post so my blog is not that weepy. What.)
